In 2016, the university of Westminster and Help Musicians UK published a study that proved that over 70% of the musicians asked have suffered from panic attacks and/or high levels of anxiety. With more and more artists coming forward to share their struggles and some even losing their battle to suicide, it’s about time to admit that we have a problem. How can we turn these numbers around? How can we improve an artist’s mental health? What can we do from our side to make sure that the artist we’re working with is healthy and thriving?
